It's 7:12am and I stayed up all night doing an english As essay. Just read Walking All Night and really liked it. Reminds me of a few summers hanging out geting high and not having a clue where we were going to sleep that night. I've had to walk 7 miles home at night and so agree with how boots really aren't made for walking, how your own neighbourhood seems just that bit more special and how good it feels to crawl into bed :D Now for a long day zombified at skewl and I'll come home battered and crawl into bed. Feeling happy however that I got some good writing done

Just read your story in April 2008, The Sun Magazine ... brought me right back there. I was a volunteer in the chaplaincy program a few years back. How are you able to write about what goes on there and the conditions at Donovan? It is so important that how it really is inside our prisons be known to all. It strikes me as ironic in a ghastly way that we can vote for legislation to treat chickens and pigs more humanely but turn a blind eye and deaf ear to the treatment and conditions in California prisons. Keep on keepin' on!

Hi , I read your letter to esquire and deeply enjoyed it . You definitely have a talent , and once I've reached sufficient funds I'll be purchasing a novel . As for being a minority in the prison situation , hang in there.. I hope these words of encouragement are small incentives to help you persevere through difficult trials and tribulations. Your (straight ) friend Dave

Yes, it's me. Hey, the novel is wonderful. Not generic, whitebread wonderful but like goddamn I wish it was published so I could finish it tonight because it has filled my head with exotic anticipation that tingles and pops and paints new shades of humanity over my version of reality. Thanks, Saint.

You crack me up. Love your descriptive talent. Reminds me of Richard Brautigan and, oddly, E.E. Cummings. Don't know why the latter. Must be some reason though Admin reply: Excited to get your email.
